📌 최상급이란?

세 명 이상이 있을 때, 그 중에 가장 ~한 걸 말할 때 써요!

 

예를 들어:

• 우리 반에서 가장 키 큰 친구
• 이 중에서 가장 빠른 동물
• 내가 읽은 책 중에 가장 재미있는 책

🗣 영어로는 이렇게 말해요:

• He is the tallest in our class.
• This is the most interesting book.

🧪 최상급 만드는 공식

1. 짧은 형용사 (1음절, 일부 2음절)

👉 the + 형용사 + -est

원래 형용사	최상급	뜻
tall (키 큰)	the tallest	가장 키 큰
fast (빠른)	the fastest	가장 빠른
small (작은)	the smallest	가장 작은

 

💡 규칙 기억하기!

• e로 끝나면 -st만 붙여요!
  • nice → the nicest
• 자음 + 모음 + 자음이면 자음을 한번 더 써요!
  • big → the biggest
  • hot → the hottest
